Colorado in May

Beautiful morning for a walk!  I love springtime in Colorado.  May is such a beautiful time of the year.  The temperature high for today is in the 70s and the humidity is in the 30s.  You can see the snow packed Rocky Mountains in the distance.

A great day to enjoy the surroundings.  Blue sky, sunshine, the fragrances from the blooms and listening to the red wing blackbirds squawk in the background.  It so peaceful to see the mallards land in the wetland area as they are taking care of their nest and getting ready for the newborns.

You know that other people are also enjoying the surrounds.  As you pass other walkers, you see big smiles on their faces.  Walking pass the homes, you can smell fresh bacon cooking and hear someone playing the piano.

Today is going to be a great day!
